TGV Atlantique and Thalys HO

Good evening to all! ;)

Some years ago i bought the hobby star sets of the TGV Atlantique (the T683) and the Thalys PBKA (for this i don't know the item but it's about 10 years old).

Now i'm looking for both sets of intermediate coaches, and I saw them on the Mehano's on line catalogue (Thalys: item 29849 and item 29850) (TGV: item 5457 and item: 5456).

I know that Lima made the intermediate coaches for the TGV Atlantique, but are they suitable whit the Mehano coach?

The same is for the Thalys: I know that Jouef made this train, but i don't know if Jouef made the coaches or not.

Have you any suggestions for me?

Can you suggest me a shop on-line where i can buy these coaches?

Thank you very much for helping me.

Bye!

Alessandro

Buonasera, Alessandro,

But who is a maker of your TGVs? As I know the couplings of old Jouef and Lima are fully incompatible. It seems to me the best choice is to find intermediate coaches of the same mark and the same age.

It's one more problem: coaches of the same mark but of different age of manufacture may be of defferent shades.

Sincerely,
Alexandre

Hi Alex,

my TGVs are made by Mehano, sorry, i forgot to write it...

You're right, but here in Italy Mehano is an unknown producer of models... so is very difficult to find models of that producer...

I see on E-bay or other sites a few Jouef (less Mehanos) sets of the coaches, but i wanted to be sure that the the two producers are compatible...

Sorry but... do you know a shop that can have the sets that i'm looking for? :)

Thank you very much!

Have a good day!

Bye.

Alessandro
